That's fine. And maybe someday you'll have that 'Ah ha, I get it!' moment and maybe you won't. I don't like some of his plays (most of the tragedies), but even in those, I often find a really clever, interesting, or evocative turn of phrase. I do like a lot of his comedies - the way he plays with gender roles (at one point in As You Like it, assuming a male actor for Rosalind, you have a man pretending to be a woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman), the inventive insults, and the dirty jokes.
