FWIW, radfem ought not to be automatically dismissed as fringe loonies the way they so often are. Personally, I find that radfem positions tend towards idealism at the expense of expedience. Tearing down the system to start afresh is an unreachable dream, so we have to make messy compromises and pick battles and sometimes betray our principles. But that doesn't make radfeminism intellectually flawed.

For the internet, F!S skews pretty... center progressive? Gen pop here (barring the damn trolls) are up on the 101s. But it probably isn't a place where you're going to get the best response on thornier debates in which you skew further iconoclast than average.

You're talking about someone who walked into a thread and tried to insist that an anon who said she'd made porn had been raped. And then kept on insisting it after the anon assured them otherwise.

She's not a fringe loony

She's a troll. A slowly improving troll.

And no, don't worry, it's not just me trolling to destroy feminism forever. But I won't say I've never drawn inspiration from her.

Tearing down the system to start afresh is an unreachable dream

Only if you're not willing to do unconscionable harm to everything around you to achieve it. Hence the tactics extremists usually end up resorting to. Radical change is always possible if there aren't enough people left alive or records left unburned to remember the former system. It's only a question of thoroughness.
