Steam help?

I'm trying to get my save files from one computer to another. I'm on Windows 7, the other computer is Vista. I've tried using the steam backup, it didn't work, I tried copying the files from the games over and that didn't work. Any folder I see that says "saves" or "game saves" is empty. I can't burn the backup to a disc because this computer is a netbook.

what about flashdrives? e-mailing yourself the backups in a zip folder?

Yes, I did that. Moved the files from Computer A to Computer B, put them in the right place, nothing happened. I did this with the 'backup' files as well as the regular game files and tried it multiple times, in different ways. So I dunno, maybe the actual saves are located in a mystery folder somewhere. I'm just gonna finish the game on the crappy computer and maybe someday replay it on the good one, I guess.

(Should note I originally mentioned the disc thing because Steam's instructions for doing this tell you to burn to either a CD or a DVD and since I can't do that, I just used a flashdrive.)

It's okay my kismesis found the answer for me, it was all in an appdata folder in a completely different location.

but it's Analogue: A Hate Story/Hate Plus and you should play them.

And play them as a girl.
