(Seriously, though, Hermione didn't think of the Accio spell?)

I'm assuming you mean when Peter escaped at the end? Didn't they learn the Accio spell in fourth year? (I might be confusing that with Harry practising the spell for the First Task, though.)

I didn't throw the book around, but I was SO. ANGRY. at the ending. PoA is my favourite book of the series, but I still get pissed when I get to the end. The only time I was more pissed off was when I read the fifth book. I very angrily slammed the book closed after the battle and refused to so much as look at the book for two whole days. And then I had to very angrily flip through the pages for a minute until I found the place where I had stopped reading again.
