Yeeeeeeah what kaijins said.

Even if you're the best fucking writer on the face of the goddamn planet, not everyone is gonna want to read about OCs. The "warning" isn't a declaration of quality; it's common fucking courtesy in an environment where most people want to exclusively read about characters that have already been established.

Although.....in some cases the presence of original characters is kind of a given?

Like "[canon character] ends up in a different school through the foreign exchange program" I believe in warning for them but...it's still kind of redundant."
