38. THANK YOU TOO. I mean, I love their interaction in Tokyo Babylon the most. It's twisted and sweet, but honestly? Anyone who thinks Subaru would be HAPPY with that insane guy just worries me. I love Seishirou on his own merit, but... god. The angst. Not that I should be surprised, it's CLAMP. It's like it hurts them to make their characters happy with a resolution.

Yeah. But despite how unhealthy it's for him (and how canon how proved this over and over and over and OVER), he really believes Seishirou can make him happy. ._.

It's true. I think if they're trying to make a point of showing how unhealthy their relationship is, they've definitely done a good job of it. Mental instability and all. That's why, while I can understand how it can be attractive to fans, realistically... it would be kinda scary.

Oh, I don't deny that! But realistically, the whole concept of X, and most of his charas (save maybe Sorata, Arashi, Yuzuriha and Kusanagi) would be scary as hell.

A lot of fans love the pairing precisely BECAUSE of the way it's so fucked up and twisted. I don't think for a second that they could work together :/ But I still ship them. (Does that make sense XD;?)

Yes, it totally does! xD I think it's all in the presentation as well. But there are fans who go 'OMG TWU WUB' (SeriouslyI'veseenitanditmademecry) by... totally twisting the point of why they're 'together' for their own satisfaction, and pretending that that's the way they are. Then, you just have to read that and think, 'Way to miss the point' @_@;

I don't think they could be happy together, not in this lifetime, but I suppose their own unhealthy, twisted happiness comes from their own perception of it, which I doubt any of us could understand, but in that, I suppose I can see why it would be attractive. So long as fans aren't seriously going 'OMG THAT'S THE WAY ALL LOVE SHOULD BE IRL!', anyway. xD

But that could be said of a lot of relationships in many different series. And I ramble. *shot*

I think they're truly in love. But that it's a twisted, unhealthy love that eventually lead to the way their story ended >: Love doesn't always mean you're sane and fluffy and happy.

Of course, the stupid fanbrats who think they'd be all sparkly and mushy together if CLAMP hadn't done what they did to them, are completely insane.

I-I'd love to, really. ;_; But they're like... one of my "china doll" pairings. I have "action figure" pairings that I just want to take down off the shelf and play with, or at least feel like I COULD play with, and "china doll" pairings that I don't dare mess around with lest they break. D:

That, and... I don't feel like I have anything to ADD. It's like, yes. They're canon and perfect and darling and wonderful as it is. There is nothing I could do to improve on that perfection.

I know that feeling entirely!! When you put it that way, I think I can understand. That's a good way of putting it too, like the whole 'china doll' and 'action figure' thing admittedly I'd play with the china dolls too 83 buuuuut yeah. Hey, why not write the obvious? It would be nice to snuggle up with a sweet fic to smile at every once in a while. :)

See, the other part of the problem, and something that figures heavily into "china doll" status for me, is lack of voice. I love Gumshoe and Maggey both to DEATH but... I don't have their voices. Without a voice, I can't write. D:

It might get better, though! Phoenix and Edgeworth were "china doll" for me, but as I get more used to them and find their voices, they're slowly shifting to "action figure".

At the very least, if I could put them somewhere in the background of another fic... :D
