38. Yeah, cause there's no WAY fans could love Seishirou/Subaru and their story because of how fucked up it is. No, of course not, it's all about the buttsecks and we all overlook how obsessive and unhealthy their relationship is just because it's two pretty guys!1

Of course, it's not like one of CLAMP's rules is 'happiness is different for everyone' as well, or as if there were het and yuri couples who're also fucked up (Hi, Kamui/Kotori! :D Hi, TRC!Sakura/Cloney! :D Hi, Saya/Tohru! :D Hi, pretty everyone in RG Veda! :D).

And in any case, those don't matter, they're BAD and WRONG because all RL rules should apply to fiction. The only charas and pairings worth of praise and fans are those who're nice and fluffy and perfect.

Which makes me wonder how the hell do you like X, with all the murders, torture and mindfuckery that happen in it, or how you like Subaru. He fell in love with Seishirou, afterall, despite the guy being a puppy killer. And still loved him despite knowing the guy had murdered his sister AND beat the shit out of him, etc.

THANK YOU. I read that secret and was like "...wait I wrote a fic about Seishirou murdering Subaru repeatedly because I like happy fluffy niceness??? How did I miss this memo?"

I like them broken and damaged and in desperate need of therapy. It's what makes the pairing more interesting than all the happy fluffy romances out there.

Same here :/ I like the charas and their stories and their story together and the mindfuckery and obsession and horrible angst of it all.

Funnily enough, I also love Sakura/Syaoran, who're like, CLAMP's most fluffy sparkly happy couple ever. It's all a matter of taste 8D Cause Fuuma/Kamui is also angsty and fucked up and twisted, and I don't love it the same as Sei/Sub.
