But... Verona is a fucking FLYING CITY! And both Romeo and Juliet are deeply different from their counterparts. Romeo x Juliet =/= faithful adaptation.
They're different stories. One of them is a XXI Century anime and the other is a XVII play. They're way too different to be comparing them.
And I like the series more because I can't stand originalflavor!Romeo and originalflavor!Juliet. There. I said it.

Haha, totally agreed. RxJ isn't my favorite anime ever, but Romeo and Juliet don't make me want to slap my head and roll my eyes anymore.

Oh yeah, I love Shakespeare, but...Romeo and Juliet are just so much more LOVEABLE in the anime. XDDD I haven't finished it yet, though, sadly...just the first five episodes. But still, how could you NOT love Romeo? He's so CUTE.

Romeo is one of the characters most prone to cheek pinching ever.
I'm at chapter 12. Tonight I'm watching 14 and 15.
