I'm afraid to watch the anime, because I've read the book . . . It's my favorite (next to Wuthering Heights), and I couldn't bare to see it ruined.

I was mostly disappointed because the characters in the anime were nothing like the original play's characters. It kind of felt like a normal anime with Romeo and Juliet's names pasted on.
