11. READ IT. XD I love both the original novel and Gankutsuou - they're really different, and yet somehow Gankutsuou manages to capture the depth and awesomeness of the book in a way none of the other adaptations ever have. I adore them both, I don't think the book would lower your opinion of the anime.

I quite liked R x J at first (and this is having read the play previously) - it was nice. But then it started boring me around ep 14, and haven't watched it since :(

13. So most lesbians' relationships aren't deep and full of meaning? Wow.

38. Ha. Ha. Of COURSE S/S is fucked up; that's commonly acknowledged. I don't think I've ever heard anyone claim it's a sweet and healthy relationship. It's still love, though, albeit of a very twisted kind.
