I feel like we've had a lot more trolls, and more obvious trolls.

I'm losing patience. Maybe I just have a low troll tolerance.

I would be surprised if they were more than three or four individuals

Yeah, I think it's mostly two - SJW!troll and fail!troll.

We should ship them.

But fail!troll is a minor and SJW!troll would be livid!

fail!troll is a minor!? oh man, I feel bad being so harsh on them. I didn't realise they were still learning

It's probably the more obvious ones that we seem to have had lately. When they're so blatant, it makes it seem like we have more.

I think we just have a couple persistent ones lately.

I feel like there's a couple and they're not very good trolls which is my main sticking point.

It's most likely the same people pretending to be a lot of other people. Case has mentioned that a few of them have the same IP addresses and post counter arguments to their own trolling, so lol...

I can't speak for the majority, but a couple of times in the past week I might have come off as one? Not because I was trolling, but I did get irritated a few times and might have accidentally come across as one as a result.

This is driving me mad. It should be possible to get genuinely het up in a discussion and then argue (or wank)it through without the troll-culture crowd giving you a score out of ten. Even if it doesn't put you off the debate entirely, there's a good chance that you'll die of second-hand embarrassment watching them smug.

Getting irritated only comes off as trolling when everybody is primed to a hair-trigger response.

(I know. I should just gaffiate. I probably will soon.)

It'll probably die down. Just keep debating I guess? People are irritated at the bad trolling and more likely to think that other's are also trolling...and someone will ~always~ assume that it's just one troll arguing all over the place - which is stupid but not much you can do about it.
