That NBC logo in the corner tells me why I've never heard of it and why it was cancelled before it got a chance.

Ohhhhhh, NBC

+1

I'm still bitter about Awake and Prime Suspect, myself.

Awake was a beautiful thing, but I feel like if it had gotten a second season it would have gone off the rails really fast.

Secret 2 - Mercy

[Picture is the cast of the TV show "Mercy". They are three men and two women all wearing pants and standing or sitting on a dentist-type of chair in a medical examination room (of dentistry?), looking seriously at the camera.]

I'm still sad this show was cancelled. I think it had potential to be a great show it if had had a chance. I especially loved the way it handed its female characters.

Secret because: Laughing Out Loud who even watched this show?

All I know is that the bearded guy is fucking hot. I probably wouldn't have watched, though, because medical dramas aren't my thing. I'm sorry you lost your show, OP. We all know your pain!

I'm not sure I've heard of it before, so the network probably didn't advertise it enough. Or, you know, keep it on the air long enough; idk how long the show ran.

Who hasn't loved a show that got canceled, though? I've been there with Common Law, Terriers and Trust Me. Common Law being the only one anyone seems to remember...and not that many people care about it either. So sorry, OP. :(

I loved Common Law :( Did Terriers have Donal Logue? That name is familiar even though I didn't watch it.

Common Law was lots of fun. And extremely slashy. One of the few feel good TV shows I had. :(

And yup, Donal Logue was one of the stars! It only ran a season before cancellation which is a shame because it was pretty much perfect.

...Terriers ;__;

(from what I've read online, I'm apparently in a minority for turning in specifically because of its name and for continuing to watch despite it involving fewer puppies and more dead bodies than one might expect)

*sniff* It's nice knowing I'm not alone in my pain.

(I'm gonna be melodramatic for a moment and say that what happened to Terriers was fucking tragic. The name made no damn sense, it was barely promoted and some of the commercials were misleading. It's amazing anyone saw it with the fuck up FX made, and it's a damn shame because that show was two times better than anything I'm currently watching. Grr. And lol, idk man, there's probably someone else! I admit being a bit confused by the lack of dogs too, but I expected an interesting friendship and got that in spades, so...)

I enjoyed the show, thought that a second season would be much better.

I watched and loved this show. There were so many great characters and I feel given a second season it could have been great.

For me, it was too Veronica-centered. I'm saying this while I adored Veronica: she was a complex character with strenths and faults, but when somebody didn't like her, there wasn't that much to watch. I think, if the show would come out now (after Elementary, The Killing, Revenge, the cancel of the Closer, when almost all of the original cast left/will leave Grey's Anatomy) it would last longer.
