Same. Hell, I have seen Big Scary Badass adult characters pull off the puppy-dog eyes in canon. (Michael Westen, I'm looking at you.)

my favourite Hawaii 5-0 Tumblr has a dedicated tag for the "Steve McGarret hearts-eyes project". it is full of him making puppy eyes.

Age has nothing to do with it. It's the expression that's being described, and giant moose men and badass angels (among others) can be terrifyingly good at it.

I prefer "puppy dog eyes" to "chocolate orbs" (or any kind of orbs when we're talking about eyeballs).

I'm sorry and I do not want to offend you personally, but OMFG DO NOT WANT! Brown or cerulean, I do not want orbs in fic unless we're talking space travel or marbles.
