I remember the day I grew tired of Dean/Castiel. I still get a little sad about it. I try and read some of the new fic, but there is no going back for me. :C

That kinda reminds me of Nate/Sophie on Leverage. His problems aren't really very subtle, hers a little more so, but they are sometimes good for each other and sometimes borderline disastrous.

I usually tire of ships after a while, though if I revisit the canon I often get back into them. There's only one ship that I'm still obsessed with after like 10 years of shipping it, and they're the only ones I give the honour of being called an OTP for that reason.

I'm starting to tire of John/Sherlock and the Mary Morstan bashing I encounter is not helping...I'm growing more and more into a Sherlock/Molly shipper.

Sort of? I never stop liking my ships (or, rarely do; it's happened once or twice) but sometimes I need a break from the fic or fandom.

Yep. I used to be a big fan of Phineas/Isabella in my PnF days. After Summer Belongs To You though, I slowly started losing interest in the show until a few months later when I realized that I will be missing the latest PnF new season episode by going outside my house.

I don't have a lot of ships, but my last OTP was the fandom darling OTP. I still love them, but I'm burnt out on them.

I never tire of my ships per se, but I do get tired of the way people write them. Does that make sense? Like I still think my ships are great and fascinating and swoon worthy, but at a point fic starts being really repetitive and derivative of earlier works, and it just becomes really boring to me. Especially since I ship things from closed canons, usually.
