I don't mind the first one (but I enjoy hurt/comfort too much). But mostly a yes on the second one. And a definite yes on short as hell chapters.

And I won't read a fic without paragraph breaks. Just not worth the effort for me.

I hate the fact that many authors that do this are either a) making the characters Author Avatars or b) scouting for kudos.

God, MCU fic is dreadful for that: "Char B has 7000 issues he didn't have in canon. Wow, I'm being so clever!" I mean, this is Marvel. Aren't the characters fucked-up enough already?
