I've read The Red Queen, and it is indeed about a Lancastrian, Margaret Beaufort, Countess of Richmond. It's also a highly unflattering portrait of her and the supposed zealotry she had for the Lancastrian cause, so I'm not sure this really disproves the OP's point.

I had a really frustrating afternoon being "guided" ( I have a history degree - not in that period, but I know something - but it was compulsory) around a 15th century palace ruin by a lady whose entire version of the period seemed to be based around Philippa Gregory's account of Margaret Beaufort. When she actually got three *facts* wrong that my husband, who is a mathematician by training, knew were wrong, I stopped listening to her altogether and spent the journey home giving my mum and her friend the actual history.
