I went all the way from the Bronx to the Brooklyn for an apartment showing that turned out to have Just Sold the moment I texted the owner to let him know I was there. Then he was all "BUT I HAVE ANOTHER SHOWING ON PUTNAM IN AN HOUR" followed in an hour by "damn my key isn't working I'll have to reschedule".

Relabeled him "Slim Shady" in my phone. Feeling really great about wasting $4.50 and an entire fucking evening! Fucker.

God damn, that sucks, anon. Good luck with your looking for apartments in the future. I definitely feel your pain. Hopefully you won't have to deal with too many more asshole landlords.
