Storm Hawks was originally darker, Aerrow and Finn were escaped slaves from the Cyclonian mines and the reason Stork didn't leave the ship much was because he had a permanent injury to his leg courtesy of the Cyclonians

It got a bit darker in the last two episodes with imprisoning Sky Knights (and Noob the annoying fanboy) in that huge crystal

I'm glad those episodes shot down the Starling/Harrier ship, it was pretty obviously to me from her personality that she wouldn't like Harrier to much
