I don't watch it, but I have to know: Is the secret misleading? Is he or isn't he a rapist? Cause if he is, I don't think you can ever really be redeemed from that, no matter who's defence he comes to.

Depends on how you see rape. Based on the legal definition of rape with regard to incarcerated women, he absolutely did. He had sex with a woman in exchange for drugs, he watched a woman changing in her bedroom, and he sexually intimidated two women, one by actually showing her his penis and urinating in her food. I consider him a rapist, but he's never actually had sexual intercourse by force with a woman.

Secret because: Anyone who's watched this knows this guy is a scumbag, a sexually coercive guard who takes advantage of prisoners, and who racially and sexually objectifies every inmate. What self-respecting (POC!) woman would even feel the tiniest bit of attraction to him?

There's something about the way he acts that caricaturizes the vile role he's playing, something that makes it seem easier for me to enjoy yet loathe him. There's no point in trying to rationalize this right now, just avoid it and shame myself and my kinks.
