OP here. The person in question already receives the occasional message telling her to maybe use her personal blog for art angst, to which she replies "I'M SORRY FOR EXISTING WAAH", then other followers start comforting her, and nothing changes.

It's frustrating because she IS very talented and I love her art.

Oh I said a few years for a reason. Hindsight is pretty accurate. You might help her get there faster at best.

Either way, you are free. Keeping up with a draining person for the sake of pity is just that: draining. You'll leave anyway, eventually. Spare yourself the prolonged pain.
