Wacom's are the besssssssst, I have a wacom bamboo which is several years old now so it may get an upgrade 'round about christmas time.

That's what I have. a Wacom Bamboo, Create and Touch. I had to turn the touch part off, because it kept messing up.

I think the create and touch models are the ones I was looking at a little while back, I rarely want anything too fancy for a tablet but I must admit having extra buttons on one does make me go 'oooooh' for no good reason.

I have a Bamboo Create (with Touch) and it's lovely. :) I've had Intuoses in the past (a 2 and 3 three, if I recall), and I never really noticed much difference in using the Create vs. one of them, even though I know they're meant to be the fancier models. It's functional, cheaper than an Intuos (or Cintiq, those beautiful expensive bastards), and I believe the Create is larger and more pimped-out than the other Bamboos.

Also, advantage over my previous tablets: if it gets bent cord syndrome and stops working, you can get a wireless add-on for it.

My only complaint would be that the surface is relatively rough (I think it's meant to be paper-like?) and seems to eat nibs faster than my previous tablets. However, it could just be that I was pressing harder than I necessarily needed to. >_>
