Original Slash/Femslash fic recs?

I hate to say it, but I'm not really in a fandom at the moment. I follow some shows and play games, but haven't bothered reading fanfic or whatever in probably about a year. Just waiting for that series that really jerks me, I guess.

So, all I read lately are original fics. I pretty much only like gay and lesbian ones. And not ones actually about LGBT rights and dealing with being LGBT (I'm gay, so that's too much like real life for me, and not fun at all). Just sexy, dramatic, story-driven stuff.

Anyone got any recs? Of free stuff, of course. And any websites? I usually browse Adultfanfiction's original section, which is mostly gay stuff anyway, but any other good places to get original stuff?

Um. Typically the "modern AU" tag on AO3 does not require canon knowledge and can be read as if it were original fic? And obviously their original slash tag.

And maybe try checking out the original slash tag on tumblr?

At the risk of tooting my own horn, this journal is all slash/femslash. There's some short stories (10-12k), as well as my weekly drabble posts.

I'm not sure what kind of stories you're into though. If you like porn/plot, there's this site, I like her stuff. It's not for the faint of heart though, and it's definitely not fluffy bunnies/unicorns.

Well, fictionpress.com used to be an okay site for original slash and femslash, but it may have gone downhill. Also, seconding reading AUs; when I want original slash, I usually just go into a fandom I'm not familiar with and tool around in the AU tag. Some fandoms really love their AUs.
