Is there a way to only be notified when a story is complete?

Because I'm more of an all in one go reader and end up having to delete several chapter notifications for stories I am subscribed to pretty much every day. And now there's this horrible, trashy, oooc badfic I didn't realize was a WIP and I absolutely must know how this trainwreck ends but the author is practically updating in paragraphs and it is driving me crazy seeing it spam my inbox.

Tracking-wise, no. You can just set up a specific bookmark list for incompleted fics and then check all the links like weekly, but that seems like a lot of work. There's also Blurb Blocker, but I'm not sure if that works with the incomplete/complete issue (although it does block specific authors if you want it to, which is nice.)

Other than doing it the hard way, though, I have no suggestions.

If it helps, I submitted a request ticket to the AO3 staff about just that issue a few weeks ago (well, that, and the ability to filter out incomplete series as well.) So, at least they know about it. :)
