I saw all of these, but the only one I remember the plot of is set at a college and the archangel Michael takes over the main girl's boyfriend in order to fight the djinn. It was entertaining.

Secret 7 - Wishmaster

I wish (pun intended) this movie had more fans. The deaths were awesome, the djinn was super hot, the plot was great, what not to love?!

Oooh, I remember this movie! It's been a long time since I watched it, though. I remember I liked it well enough, but wasn't entirely convinced. I probably thought they had tried too hard to make another Freddy Krueger and had kind of failed at it. I think. Don't really remember so well.

I enjoyed the first one a lot.... the sequels not so much! Not sure I'd use the phrase "super hot" to describe the Djinn though (but saying that I think Pinhead and Freddy Krueger are sexy, so I'm not one to judge).

The Djinn remains one of my favorite villains. I've always been a little sad that no one really latched onto the whole Djinn concept and ran with it.

Wishmaster! =D
I really love the first one. It's a given on Halloween.
The second one is okay. 3 and 4 are so bad they're funny.
The series reminds me a bit of Nightmare on Elm Street. Both are rare instances were I just cannot hate the villain, no matter how horrible he is.

PS: The Djinn's voice is hot. Especially how he pronounces certain words ;)

I have complete unabashed love for these films. Even 3 and 4.

But the first one is amazing — and by 'amazing', I do mean cheesy, awesome, practical-effects gore, laden with amusing horror cameos.

Disclaimer: I could listen to Andrew Divoff read my shopping list and be enthralled. I was so excited when he turned up in Lost.
