I used a popular fic author's behavior in this fandom to talk a friend out of joining. She still listens to the pod casts, reblogs a bit of art, and may read a bit of recommended fic but she doesn't really go into fandom.

I'm not ashamed. This fandom is a shit fest on tumblr. The only reasonable people seem to be here on Fandom Secrets and my friend doesn't go here.

I still think they made more sense. JKR's original story didn't evolve with the characters that she actually ended up with by Deathly Hallows. Hermione will always have shared so much more with harry. I imagine Ron will remain insecure about Harry and Hermione.

Not secret: I have a regular role-playing group which I love very much.

Secret: I really dislike someone who joined the group recently. They like to have their character interact with mine - the only problem is that the way they do it goes against what I usually roleplay my character as.

Bonus secret: I left the group for a while because I was trying to avoid them, then got guilty and went back when they messaged me saying they missed my character. Now I just check before entering so I can switch characters if they're there.

I wish (pun intended) this movie had more fans. The deaths were awesome, the djinn was super hot, the plot was great, what not to love?!

I miss the days when people wanked for hours about which guy the girl should choose or which guy tops in the slash ship or other stupid shit like that. Now all we have is social justice and bitching about other people and other fucking boring shit like that. Am I in the wrong circles? When did we all get so serious?

I'm so glad they were Jossed. The butthurt has been wonderful. I still can't believe there were so many delusional people thinking that it was actually going to happen!

Jossed = a possible event, backstory, pairing, characteristic, etc. that wasn't, strictly speaking, not canon, but that is suddenly declared non-canon by the work itself or by the people behind the work, doing away entirely with the possibility it ever had. The name comes from the TV writer "Joss Whedon".
