Nope. I read the books before I ever finally saw the films (and i was a late book bloomer) and even then, I was sure it was gonna be Harry/Hermione.

I meant more along the lines of Harry and Hermione having a stronger bond than Harry and Ron and considering Ron a ''fifth wheel.'' I wasn't very clear, I realise.
