I never said it wasn't? I'm just saying it's not just straight people who use the term demisexual to feel special.

But you're right, I should have said something other than "specific people" too, as it wasn't exactly what I meant. I should have said "people they know personally," instead of being able to be attracted to someone only by how they look. Again, I'm not trying to tell you it's not a special snowflake way to identify, I just don't get why everyone thinks only straight people use it.

Demisexual is someone who can't have sex with someone unless they have feelings for them. Being Aromantic, or demiromantic makes no sense given that!

Not quite: demisexual is someone who can't be sexually attracted to someone unless they have feelings for them (however you interpret that). You can have sex with someone without being sexually attracted to them.
