Edge of the Empire

The Star Wars pencil/paper RPG. Has anyone played it? A few of my D&D friends are interested in trying to start a campaign. Is it a good system? I'm pretty confident I'll end up having fun simply because they're great people to RP with, I just don't really know anything about it.
