authors dumping exposition on a character's sexuality in fic usually throws me out of the story & i find it grating and horrible but i hardly think that ENDA will be thrown out of the house because of a demisexual johnlock* fanfic

* i am imagining this is common although i avoid this fandom because it is a general plague area
