Zimmerman "standing his ground" again

Threatening his wife and daughter(?), no charges.

Australia may have had a shitty weekend but I'm still very glad I'm not in America.

One idiot with a gun vs One idiot with significant power over the government. Yeaaaahhhh gonna go with the one idiot with a gun.

A government and judicial system that lets Zimmerman run around versus a government where the conservative party was the one who brought in gun control. I think I can see which one I prefer

Except the story has been changed to him just punching the father, and he might have just had his hands on his hips (which would make it look like he has his hand on his gun but doesn't necessarily mean it was).

The man's a shithead but he's not necessarily Yosemite Sam.

Yeah, you could feel sorry for Yosemite Sam sometimes. Zimmerman is a violent shithead who was let off by a racist system.

Well yeah. Everything's simple isn't it? And everything's about the one event.

Hell, let's just accuse him of all sorts of things. He did this one thing so he must have done the other thing.

You know, we probably shouldn't have a legal system at all! Gets in the way of all our assumptions about disconnected events.

This story keeps changing (adding more people, upping any threat) every time I see it. Makes me less inclined to believe he did anything at all. Which could suck I guess if my opinion meant anything but all the wolf cries are ridiculous.

I find it entirely believable that a moron like Zimmerman would end up marrying a jerk.
