if you're reading a fic and see a character actually described (as in told not shown) as "pansexual", "demisexual" or "asexual", there's a 1000% chance the rest of the fic will be about how hard it is to be ___sexual and how oppressed they are and how much they want to find their queerplatonic zucchini/how they're totally not sexually attracted to anyone but also totally kinky and want to have sex all the time, and nothing interesting will actually happen in terms of storytelling so you should just stop right there.
