bi means two. The term bisexual insists on the precept that there are only two genders, which is false. Therefore I won't call myself bisexual, even though gender doesn't enter into the equation of what attracts me.

hahahahahahahahahaha *weezes*

You are not Bi because you may potentially sleep with someone who doesn't fit one of the accepted definitions of gender.

Why not just be queer?

(Anonymous) 2013-09-10 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Honey, plenty of people find "queer" to be a very charged word. Pansexual doesn't have the pejorative history behind it. Shut up.

(Anonymous) 2013-09-11 08:13 am (UTC)(link)
that is because pansexual is made up.

A word that isn't made up "fetish object".

except the "bi" in "bisexual" isn't referring to gender, it's referring to the two other at-the-time-identified sexualities. bisexuals aren't attracted to both men and women, they're both homosexual (attracted to their own gender) and heterosexual (attracted to genders other than their own).

That is about the smartest thing I've heard anyone say about this subject.
