The end of Persona 3/all of The Answer never happened. He's just in a coma, waiting for Elisabeth to get his soul out of there (as implied in P4), and then will wake up again.

The Dark is Rising never had a movie. It's what the author wishes for, too.

In "The Awakened Mage" by Karen Miller, Gar didn't die and instead got together with Asher and Dathne didn't turn into a Sue-ish cardboard cutout love interest.
