Anyone here ever read that fic? Last I heard of it was about two years ago, but it's such a great fic I refuse to accept it's just dead and unfinished :(

Yes! I read it way back when but eventually stopped checking to see if it would be updated. Like so many fantastic X-Men fics, tbh. First Class fandom is probably one of the most bittersweet fandom experiences I've had because there's SO much excellent fic, but a ton of it is unfinished too.

I did a google search and came up with nothing but rec's for it and the original thread, so either my google-fu is broken or this fic is abandoned. Sad as it is, at this point I doubt it will ever be finished.

Yeah, that's all I could find too. The author anon never revealed themselves, the placeholder thread never got updated with fic... Why, oh why?

Anyway, I agree completely on the bittersweet experience thing. Hopefully the new movie will bring some of these authors back.

Haha, I feel that way about a lot of X-Men fics. I imagine at this point some of the unfinished kink meme fills have melded together in my head and I don't know what's real anymore.

I know. :( The author probably intended to finish it but for whatever reason didn't. Maybe they lost inspiration. (Hell, I haven't wrote fic since I was a teen and I still feel guilty about leaving years old fic unfinished. And believe me, that was some shitty fic. The author probably wanted to finish it but something came up.)

Hopefully the new movie will bring some of these authors back.

Maybe! If not we'll get new authors, and...well, hopefully this time the unfilled fic ratio won't be so large.
