Eh, I dunno. Paula Deen may have been a joke before, during and after her racism scandal, but she's never had to do a Kickstarter to fund her next cookbook. Prior to the scandal, she had THREE cooking shows on FoodTV plus cookbooks, magazines, restaurants, and various endorsement deals including her own line of cookware. Somebody's watching/buying all of that, so while it may not be what we consider a fandom, I'm not sure what else you'd call it.
