housemate is angry at me for nagging her over paying our power bills
but she's the one who owes money and we got a final notice 3 weeks ago and today i got a phone call about it being cut off and threats of a collection agency so i don't know why she's pissy at me for nagging at her when SHES THE ONE RUINING MY CREDIT RATING

fucking shit you've had over a month and you have the money PAY THE BILLS DAMNIT "no offence I need you to stop asking my about it" she says
well no offence PAY THE BILLS i told you three weeks ago you sent it to the wrong place, so pay it!

Your only solution may be to either pay it yourself and assume she will never pay you back, or let the power get shut off and hope that motivates her.

Popping in even later, but she sent me a receipt of FINALLY paying it so I'll check with the company later today that it's gone through (i'm the account holder obviously).

honestly I would have just let the power be cut off so they can learn to pay shit. Maybe if they realised there's consequences to not paying they would start doing it AND NOT GET SHITTY WITH ME WHEN IT'S THEIR FAULT
