What's a hard polytheist?

That's not a troll question. I'm legitimately interested in paganism. It's neat as hell.

I just looked it up. Apparently it's the belief that the gods (or whichever gods the person in question believes in) are actual, distinct, existent divine beings, as opposed to archetypes or manifestations or "all gods are one god."

Properly speaking, it's a person who believes that all Gods are completely separate beings. (Not faces of a greater God or Goddess, as in Wicca . . . etc.)

But as of late, there's been a lot of tension in the pagan blogosphere regarding hard polytheism, and seriously? HARD POLYTHEISTS ARE BEING FUCKING HOLIER THAN THOU DOUCHES RIGHT NOW. ("I actually believe in the Gods, unlike you people" type of shit.)
