This is one of those secrets I started reading thinking it was going to be all humorous about like...Snapewives or otherkin or soulbonders or whatnot. And then suddenly there was IRL paganism and srs bns at the end and now I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to laugh or be very thoughtful or what.

However, I am very curious about what specific meaning the word "woo" has when used in this context.

"Woo" refers to superstitious or supernatural beliefs that people adhere to that are not typically a part of organized religion; think horoscopes, the Law of Attraction, reiki, etc.

There's a hell of a lot of crossover between the two mindsets. That's not neccessarily mocking either. The things fandom throws out fascinate me.
