Oh, I'm sure it's still used like that somewhere. You know what people are like.

I don't believe the word "Fag" can be called non-homophobic, just because it's no longer used exclusively against homosexuals.

Isn't it? I did not actually know that. Well, except that some people call cigarettes that. Is it homophobic when used in the context of smokes? That's kind of my point...context matters.

(It does sound as though "manchild" is still considered an insult either way though--I suppose we could open a whole other can of worms over what constitutes a mere insult as opposed to a slur.)

I highly doubt it.

Fag as in, a cigarette isn't a recent development at all. It's a very old term.
