Admittedly, my boyfriend and I have a running joke when we try to go back for a neat toy that we passed up for whatever reason, and someone beats us to it, which goes something like this: "God, some little kid is probably sucking on it right now!" But that's more about lack of appreciation, and would work equally well as "God, it was probably bought by some collector that won't open it!" or "God, someone probably got it to sell on EBay."

Because I know that there are collectors looking for old ponies that will never ever be made again, and yet I still "destroy" their mass-produced bit of plastic with my paint and clay. It's like I'm more interested in enjoying my toys than boasting about owning them or something!
