What fics have y'all been reading?

Are those movieverse only?

Avengers is. Though comic verse fics slip in. There is a Marvel big bang that has comic verse fics (I think I remember some young avenger ones).

Ok thanks! AO3 is seriously lacking comicverse fics these days.

If you want a very long set of fics to sink your teeth into, the "Folkin' Around The Verse" series is one that has been making me skip meals lately. It's a Thor/Avengers movie-verse, canon-flavor AU. Main pairing is Darcy/Loki, though it evolves on a really slow burn.

Seriously, though, it's long. None of these fics are shorter than 8K words long. The first is 84K, and two of the later ones are 100K+.

The series is not complete yet, but I get the impression it isn't WIP. At the very least, the author has written this beast over the course of two years, so there's no way it doesn't see regular updates.

Been reading so much Destiel. Haven't read anything that I'm absolutely in love with yet (meaning it hits damn near all my narrative kinks), but I have read some decent stuff- including a few of the things you linked me.

All Things Shining is kind of a quiet little romance fic with an interesting plot and likable OCs. It got a little too... twee for me at the end, but I enjoyed it overall.

I also really liked Stiches.

Not going to lie, most are first class. But there are 1-2 this round so far that are not. Unsure about previous rounds but you can give it a look.

Missing Pages, a longish Harry/Cedric fic I hadn't read yet. <3

Been reading AIs and Lullabies, an Avengers fic where Tony is suddenly 4 and everyone has to deal with it. And of course Tony at that age suffered emotional abuse from evil Howard Stark and Bruce knows all the right things to say to make him feel safe.

I like the idea, but I'm getting worn out by a Bruce that doesn't seem terribly Bruce-like.
