Rivers of London is a cool series; I just found the author on twitter, and he sounds like an awesome person.
I felt an irrationally strong sadness when he said that he was upset by his interaction with some fandom folks and that he doesn't want to communicate with fandom anymore :( I'm not sad because he said this; rather, I'm sad because he's upset. Like, this is such a small fandom, one could expect people to be decent and respectful. Not a chance in hell, apparently.

he also twitted that he'd agree to Hiddleston being cast as Thomas Nightingale. I... don't see it, tbh. He looks nothing like Nightingale, and it's not his usual type. I'm afraid he'd ruin the character.

[I often find myself wanting the creators of my favourite works to be happy - personal life-, not writing-wise. IDEK.]
