I only drink diet soda, actually (which people like to argue is actually less healthy, but whatever, it's what I grew up with).

If you suspect you have diabetes, cut back on diet soda and drink plain water until you can see a doctor. Cut back on sugar, period, since it could make your blood level go dangerously high.

You can try switching to water. Whether or not diet pop is better or worse than regular is up for debate, but both types of pop are worse than water. Avoid fruit juice, too. Also, 15 minutes a day of exercise is shown to have positive effects on controlling one's blood sugar in general.



Definitely see a doctor and get your blood sugar tested as soon as you can. The frequent urination + unusual thirst are very common signs of diabetes. Tell your doctor about the tingling, too.
