...dude, I normally agree with you, but I don't even understand your Meg defense here. Meg tried to trick Sam, possessed Sam, joined forces with Lucifer, killed Ellen and Jo, and then spent a while being all about survival but hardly on the good side. I mean, she only appeared in 14 episodes, and she was evil for 8 of them, with major redemption not happening until the last episode she was in. Ruby might have had a super evil plan, but she was at least useful to them most of the time.

Um...yes?
That's kind of the point, here? Meg didn't lie or manipulate or try to be their friend or promise them anything. She was straight-up evil from the get-go, and except for her very first encounter with Sam (when Yellow Eyes was still trying to woo, rather than coerce) she was always their enemy.

Ruby lied continuously, strung Sam and Dean along with promises of info and help, tricked them, withheld information.... She pretended to be on their side right up to the end. Meg never even bothered to pretend.
