I feel gross about it but I have the same thought. I've got a slight crush on an older dude I know, friend of the family. He's hot, he's suave as shit, he's intelligent and interesting. I feel so bad about my awkward crush on him because I WENT TO HIS WEDDING. I'm friends with his wife and I'm the same age as their kid.

Erm. If you're friends with his wife and the same age as their kid, how did you go to their wedding? I'm trying to figure this out, but you said THEIR kid (implying it isn't a situation where you're friends with and went to the wedding to the second wife and the kid who's your age is from a previous marriage). Or...for some reason they didn't get married until the kid was much older?

Guessing the "didn't get married until the kid was much older." My parents didn't get married until I was 14, and I'm the youngest sibling.
