(Anonymous) 2013-09-15 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)I didn't know the source of where they were coming for but it seemed crazy I was getting all of them from the little time I spend outdoors from class to class.
But then I changed my sheet and found some dead bug and freaked out. My father said it might be a tick but we're not sure.
I've rechecked my new sheets and haven't found anymore, but it's made me afraid to sleep in my own bed. I'm avoiding it for another night to be sure I don't get anymore bites but I'm still scared.

Bedbugs are pretty good at sticking around though so if it persists you might have to call professionals to douse your house in chemicals. :(

Let's hope it doesn't come to that. Good luck!

Until you get a positive ID on the source of the bites, I'd recommend not using the same pyjamas or sheets wherever you're sleeping now- if it's bedbugs, it's easy to accidentally spread them from one bed to another, and they're difficult to get out once they've infested a spot. If you find a dead bug again, put it in some kind of container so you have it to show to pest experts and/or doctors.
