One of the five finalists in the Axe Malaysia Space Academy competition is a woman, cue misogynistic comments on her Facebook post

Anyway, here is the place to vote for her - https://www.facebook.com/AXEmalaysia?sk=app_198173777025540

She's only a few thousand votes in the lead now, one of the other contestants got 50,000 votes in 24 hours

Sorry. After the whole Feminist Frequency thing, I tend to think twice about reactionary support of someone just because neck-beards don't like them.

I'm just shocked that people are shocked by this. AXE makes and markets products to immature guys ages 15-25 using inherently misogynistic ads and product claims. Then they sponsor a contest and a bunch of their consumers harass the sole woman finalist. How is this surprising? How else were those young guys who buy products in the hopes of making women fall under their control, as their products have been marketed, going to react to a woman finalist?

I don't think anyone is shocked as much as not willing to stand for it?
