Why do some mods seem to hate their community?
(Anonymous) 2013-09-17 01:21 am (UTC)(link)I'm a mod myself and I realize it's not always easy. You even do have to choose sometimes when to let things go and when to stop them, so I get that. It just seems like some mods start/take over communities and then want to be left alone entirely, and get irked if you ask them to take responsibility, especially if it's their friends being idiots. If I ever got that indifferent towards my community, I'd leave. Seriously.
So why do some seem to just have no patience for their members, or at least certain members? Why even run it if you don't like anyone?
