Personally, I will only get heated if I'm in my corner of the sandbox playing with my OTP (be it canon or not) and someone comes over to kick it over. Then I will get fired up, but otherwise? Nah i don't care what others ship I'm happy with my little corner (or big corner depending on fandom)
