Unpopular opinion or not, I'm right there with you. I kind of gave up on actually giving a shit about this show half way through season 6 (another unpopular opinion: season 5 was my favourite and I'm still bitter Lumen left) but I would be pretty happy with the show as a whole if it all came back to Deb and Dexter with each other. I always loved their relationship the best and Deb is an amazing character. I also have some sort of fascination with seeing Deb be emotionally tortured, probably in part due to the fact that Jennifer Carpenter nails the delivery every time, so it would be great if they just went off into the dark twisted sunset together.
